Reaching way back to the early days of Cobalt Creative, I got the opportunity to work on a small newspaper campaign for an equally small but legendary K.C. deli named D’Bronx. The sandwich and pizza (New York style, of course) options were plentiful and delicious, and the clientele and atmosphere were equally diverse and enjoyable. We tried to capture the eclectic nature of the atmosphere and customers, in particular, with the campaign. Given the tight budget, it gave some of us on the creative crew the chance to double as ‘patrons’ too. Which, really, we all were already anyway. Fun stuff.
